ok you don't know who i am, but reading that really helped me. I am kinda in the same boat you are in. i am "sick" too. well not sick but i have cancer. it is really hard and well my parents are ass holes too. all i can tell you is the same thing my boyfriend told me, don't worry about them worry about you. they will get over themselves. if they don't well so be it. ignore your dad unless you can't. if you can't, do what you have to do and be done with it.

i know that maybe what everyone is telling you, but sometimes we just need to hear it again.
