On a side note, I just had a reviewer tell me this in a review reply. “The time is in Shinigami years, meaning it hasn't been that long in the WOTL.” They are trying to tell me this basically. “10 years soul society time”=”1 year in the living world”, when it is “1 year”=”1 year” and “shinigami take ten years to age every one year it takes for a living person”. My response was to not write fanfiction for a fandom unless you actually know the canon you're dealing with.
