Challenge is Closed!
Thank you to all who participated, and great work! We (the mods) will be voting on our favorites over the next few days (to a week) and will post our selections for your vote sometime this weekend. As usual, a compiled list of sentences will be posted here as well, for your reading pleasure. Feel free to continue commenting each others' sentences, but the challenge itself is officially closed, and any sentences posted after the deadline will not be eligible for the vote. Thank you all again!
Wow, summer is nearly over and school (for those of us who go or have children who do) is about to begin.
And so we here at bleach_muses decided this will be the perfect time to run another One Sentence Challenge before life resumes it's hectic pace (after this one, there won't be another challenge till the end of October, and after that mid-December or not until after the holidays).
One Sentence Challenge!!!
-Leave a comment with a word/phrase prompt.
No pairings, no ratings.
-Look through the prompts provided and leave NO MORE than a single sentence of fic in response to a prompt.
-No limit to the number of prompts you may post, but please ensure that there is only ONE prompt per comment. All additional prompts should be given their own comment thread.
-There is additionally no limit to how many responses you may give. Hell, if you’d like, you can even write sequel sentences.
-There is no limit to the number of responses for each individual prompt.
-In addition, we have decided that anyone who fills every prompt will also receive a prize. Granted, this was a lot easier when there are fewer prompts to fill, but go nuts guys!
-All Ships are welcome, as well as Gen sentences.
-Please put your ship, or character in the subject line of your fic responses!
After the challenge closes, each mod will select their favorite sentence, and then YOU (yes, all of you gorgeous comm goers) will vote on which of those you think deserves a banner of their very own!
All mods may participate, but may not win.
This thread closes at 11:59pm EST, August 29th. (I know, it's a little longer than usual, but we won't be holding another challenge till October, and there are members away on vacation so we want them to have time to participate if they're back in time). Any prompt responses after that date will be deleted (this does not include commenting on others' sentence fics!).
