Orange & Yellow Dress

I finally finished the orange and yellow stripey kid dress and hat. It's hard to tell from the picture how the hat will look on an actual baby head. The leopard is the larger animal size from Build a Bear, for whatever reference help that is. The hat is a bucket-style, with a drawstring at the brim to help cinch it on a little bit. The dress should fit about a 2 year old, maybe a bit bigger. There's a little bit of shaping at the armholes. I think I should have worked in a little more shaping in the skirt too. I suspect it existed in the pattern, and I lost it somewhere in the gauge conversion.

The one I finished a while back (started it on my most recent trip to see mom in Oklahoma) is a smaller version of this same dress, without a hat.
