work, work, work, work, and duck penises
Uber-Portland moment with my work kids:
The teacher is setting out boxes for the kids to count. "1, 2, 3, 4..."
She gets out a flattened box to add to the count.
A kid bursts out, "That's not a box! That's *recycling*!"
Happy moment at work:
Everyone is milling around during the 5 minute break in our weekly staff meeting, mostly catching up on kids and whatnot. One of my co-workers passes by as I "rawr!" She "rawrs" back! I have people at work again!
Other happy moment at work:
In honor of Dumpling Week to celebrate Lunar New Year, someone in my building brought a bunch of different dumplings into the staff room. I've been wanting decent siu mai for weeks now. So much better than staff room donuts!
I am entertained easily at work:
I've had kids & teachers only *just* notice this week that I have blue hair.
COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO WORK, I learned things about duck penises today. I'd also never heard the phrase "penis shivved" before reading this blog entry today.
