Cindy's fundraising walk
I don't post or share a lot of links to sites asking for donations for things like fundraising walks, but this one is a little close to home. My sister is walking the Portland Brain Tumor Walk. My mom and her father both died of glioblastoma multiforme, a highly aggressive form of brain cancer.
My sister is not only raising funds for the National Brain Tumor Society, she's also personally matching the funds raised through her page (not her team) for our mom's scholarship fund at Oklahoma State University.
I'm not doing the walk because my knees are crap and I can't walk that far all at once anymore, but I can share this. If you could see your way to donate even five dollars, we'd appreciate it.
