Stand straight! Posture is important for a fighter. Slouching will make you lazy, unprepared to counter, and just doesn't look cool.
[ The video shows a certain muscular fiery-haired boy standing in the middle of the lobby of the Violet inn. He puts his fist into the air as he speaks to his student. His student being, of course, his very tiny and very orange Torchic. The tiny bird is doing its best to be intimidating: standing straight and poofing itself up. ]
Once you get your proper footing, it'll be easier to fight. See?
[ Adell performs a very impressive roundhouse kick.
Torchic attempts to emulate this, but instead spins around, hops on one leg a few times, and then falls over onto its face. It squirms its way back into its feet, but looks frustrated and, frankly, a bit bummed. ]
Hey, don't let it get to you. It doesn't matter how many times you fall down--you need to get right back up every single time; it doesn't matter how many times you mess up--you need to go ahead and try it again. That's just my--

[ Now Adell is the one that looks depressed and bummed. He slouches. ]
Yeah, yeah, don't lose your head. Why are all of the jobs in this world boring?
[ Adell is stuck as the receptionist at the Violet inn. In between reluctantly signing people in, he and his Torchic makes a show of kicking and training in the lobby, although the latter of the two tumbles over and rolls on the floor just about every time it tries anything. ]
