Cody's sister received a particular DVD boxed set for Christmas. This DVD boxed set was the first season of "How I Met Your Mother." She wanted us to watch a few episodes the night before we all were to drive back from D.C. to Waltham (she's come up to visit for New Year's). I had never heard of this show before, and was fairly skeptical because

It -is- a beautiful song! I have heard of the show, but never gave it a chance. I've been more in the mood for Simpsons and Sex and the City.

Mad About You is, in my opinion, the best sitcom of it's time. It was hilarious, and had a sophistication and ... just wonderful. It had some heartbreaking, and then wonderfully romantic moments.

But I think it was too mild and mellow for some people. Who preferred more ... not so mild? humor of the other shows of the time.

It's still my favorite show of all time. It's on once on weekdays and I get to catch it maybe once a month. It's sad.
