I've been trying something new lately. I think its a pretty good idea but I think it can use some help to kick it up a few more notches.
I'm buying slightly under-ripe mangos, some avocados, and some carrots.
I take an avocado and mash it up.
Then, I take a peeler and shave off slender strips from the mango. I do this also with some carrots.
Then i put them all in one bowl and mix them together vigorously until it is sort of held together like cole-slaw. It is pretty good, but can use some more facets. I've tried adding salt, pepper, and cayenne....which do help, but I wonder if I'm missing something. I suppose lime should be an obvious next step, but I'm willing to bet it won't end there.
Any thoughts?
