resumes
when i was in college, i took a class about caree building, resume writing, and such things. i got a very good grade on my resume and have used that template ever since. they told us to do several things, NEVER have it more then 1 page, only put the last two jobs you want the potential imployers to see, and list the skills you want them to see.
my brother's freind runs a phone company, work i'm well quilified for, and he said give him my resume and he'd get me in. Today my brother informed me that my resume was crap because it left gaps employement and that it would have been better to have a 5 page resume listing everything i've done then a or to have a short and sweet resume for the majoraty of employers?
this kind of BS is EXACLTY why i want to stay in business for my self. i'm an EXTREMLY capable employ with VAST amounts of useful skills, but because i'm not good at writen comunications and bs, i have trouble getting a job.
