Well, I think it is safe to say I lived it up last night.  I guess a rundown of the events is in order.

David and his friend Sarah came and picked me up around 5:30 or so.  Head downtown and have dinner at Alcatraz.  While there, David orders 3 Starry Night shots.  Those not in the know, this consists of Jager and Goldschlagger.  Amazing.  Had myself a wonderful red lager, very much like Killian's.

After dinner, we headed to the Wild Beaver Saloon.  Based on name alone, you have to go.  Get to the bar, sit, bartender suggest we have Roofie-Bombs.....we oblige her, and slam 'em.  Followed by a round of Alabama Slammers, and a round of Chocolate Cake shots.  Amazing.

After this, we walk to Nicky Blaine's.  Talk about a classssssy joint.  Order up a Vodka-Cranberry, and was joined by the lovely Ashley.  She had to work late, but she showed up, and that's all that mattered.  She looked very pretty, also.  Made me smile.  She orders a Mojito Martini, and I try it....very good.  So, we finish drinks, and make the trip to the Slippery Noodle.

Slippery Noodle.  I love this bar.  I love blues music, and they have an open stage on Wednesday.  I swear I'm gonna play someday.  Everybody said I could do it, and that made me feel really good.  So, we walk in, and Devin, Lisa, David, and Sarah are there waiting for Ashley and I.  I sit down to a Kamikaze waiting for me.  Pound it, order a beer.  Theresa and Mike show up, it's awesome.  We do more Kamikaze's.  Ashley says she's not feeling well, and I'm bummed.  There really wasn't much I could do though.  I just tried to comfort her.  She left early to go home and rest.  I finished her Vodka-Diet Coke, and had another Kamikaze.  I think I had somewhere close to 7 of them.  Band was rockin' it pretty hard as well.  So, Devin drove me home, and I was out before I hit the pillow.

Only one hour late for work today.  Still kinda hungover/drunk when I got there.  It was a rough morning.

I'll put some pix up.

I love my friends.  Truly, madly, deeply.  Like Savage Garden.
