I'm afraid I'm gonna wind up somehow involved in some sort of MMORPG before long.
Very seriously considered picking up World of Warcraft (?) wednesday, due to my inability to locate Firefly.
Then realized that IF I'm going to invest in one at all, I'm better off waiting another couple weeks and nabbing City of Villains and giving THAT a run-through.
For my laziness in not doing any research, do we know if it's going to be compatible with City of Heroes (i.e. PC villains can encounter/face off with PC heroes?)?
If nothing else, assumably the first month should come with the cost of the game software, by the time I'd get the game and activate stuff, that should put me to around right before finals week (and then if i wouldn't lose my character(s), let it expire for getting through finals week and such, and re-up for winter break access, and go from there...)
while shooting out questions: do you need a gamepad controller, or is keyboard/mouse just fine?
I think that there will be areas accessible to characters from both games for PVP action, bu the main games themselves will be separate (which is fine with me, I'm enjoying CoH as-is). I do know that the monthly fee gives you access to both games.
And a keyboard/mouse is just fine. Heck, I don't even use the mouse, the touchpad on my laptop is no problem at all.
