Well guys, it’s the final weekend for The Pajama Game, and I’m actually going to miss it. It’s been a long, frequently exhausting experience, but the truth is, it’s also the best part I’ve ever had I a musical, and I got to work with a lot of really good friends - Ronée, Earl, Laura, Joey, Chris Hebert, Troy, Sandy, Don, Norman, Amanda and, of course, my sister Heather, plus we got a lot of new folks on this set that I’ve really had a great time working with - Allison, Reivin, Chris Torres, Dawn and everyone else we’ve had backstage - it’s really been fun.
Just because it’s fun, though, doesn’t mean I won’t be grateful for a break. I’ve heard from a lot of guys out there who are getting mad at me for the lack of 14 Days of Asphalt -- I know, I know, I’m anxious too. But I am in the home stretch, and I’ll make you guys this promise: I’ve been planning to give the finale in one bulk. If I haven’t got it finished by next Saturday, I’ll break it into two halves, give you half next Saturday and the other half (hopefully) the next week. Okay? Okay. Thanks for understanding.
