So I'm recovering from the wisodm teeth extraction. It wasn't that bad actually. I was nervous about the anesthesia, but once you're unconcsious the worrying seems to go away. Although waking up and feeling like someone punched me in the face was kinda interesting. And by "observation room" they mean "hallway," which is where they left me right ( Read more... )

When I saw Hancock I thought of you because of Jason Bateman.

... have you seen Kung-Fu Panda? Because I fully endorse that movie a thousand times over. I love the panda.

Yeah, I loved that. The whole time Bateman was talking I was like "eeeeee Bateman!!!!" cause I'm a freak.

Yeah, it was awesome too! I went with my brother. It was more cartoony looking than Wall-E, but I loved it just the same. Although with that one I figured out the ending, but that doesn't make it bad.

The thing is... I love the panda. And by "the panda" I mean the movie. My favourite character has to be Uguay, "Quit, don't quit. Noodles, don't noodles". It's brilliant. The ending was predictable, but it's meant for kids to be able to follow.

I'm not a big Wall-E fan. It was too disturbing for me and I didn't like the mix of live action and CG. It was unnatural. But I do sorta see why people like it.

Have you seen "The Ex"? It's not terribly well known, but it has Zach Braff(I love him), Amanda Peet aaaannnnddddd Jason Bateman. But I imagine you've already seen it.

Yeah, I agree. I was definitely impressed with Kung Fu Panda, and you can't blame a kids move for not being too deep, it is for the kiddies after all. My one quibble with Wall-E was the mix of CGI and live action. I found it unnecessary, they're obviously good at the CGI so why even bother with live action? Craig and I ended up coming up with some metaphor excuse for it, but I still find it unnecessary.

And yeah, I saw The Ex on opening weekend. :) I think I saw it with Erin, actually... Anywho, I thought it was cute. Once again, a little predictable, but I was definitely entertained.
