Chillin
I ran into my good friend Alex this evening while I was on my way to the corner store to pick up some bus tickets. It was the 1st time talking to him since I returned from visiting Myra. We spent a great deal of time basically catching up on things and stuff. He asked about Myra and about what I planned on doing in the future. I let him know of what I wanted to do and we went into a whole discussion about it. He basically skimmed over a checklist of things to consider before moving. I must say that I am proud of how my close friends are doing. I ran into my boy Kevin earlier in the week and talked to him for a bit. He was with his girl (I think they're together..) and told me that he was about to buy a new car. So I drove past his house 2 days ago and saw that he actually bought the same car as Myra's aunt. I'm really happy for all of my friends and a good feeling that my turn is next to someday get a car and move forward in my work career.
One another note, I finally got a call from my workplace today. I have been dying to do some sort of work since I've come back, but they just haven't needed me. Thankfully they need me this weekend so that I can make a little bit of money. Lord knows that I need a little bit of pocket money. Times are really tough for me now financially and I've been feeling the crunch. With the recent lack of income I haven't been able to do stuff like buy new clothes, shoes or even text books for school. Depending on how much I work this weekend, I could take care of a few of my critical needs. I wish there were someone to turn to for some sort of help, but I don't know if anyone will help me out. I just have to keep praying that things will work out for the best.
