Wow it's been ages since I last wrote in this thing. Ironically the last time I wrote in my journal was right after I went to visit Myra. Well guess what, that's what I'm doing again....well sort of anyways. It's actually been almost 2 weeks since I've returned from going to see Myra again. It sucks to be back because I miss her already, but I know that I have some business to take care of as far as school goes. This time around was quite a different experience from the last time. For starters because of cash flow issues I wasn't able to fly down there to see here. Instead I had to take the bus! Yep that's right, I had to take the good ole Greyhound. The entire bus ride took a total of 25 hours and went all over the place. We went from Toronto to Niagara Falls, from there to Buffalo, from Buffalo to Cleveland, Cleveland to Columbus, Columbus to Cinncinati, Cinci to Lexington, from there to Knoxville and there to atlanta (I actually got off 1 stop short of there). Even though the ride was long I actually enjoyed seeing parts of the country side that I've never seen before. It was quite a nice experience and I also got to see some landmarks that I'd never get to see otherwise. I didn't get any sleep on the bus though because I was scared of falling asleep and missing my stops. So when Myra picked me up from the bus station I was about ready to crash.
This time around she didn't have to babysit, but instead she had to work during the day and sometimes at her 2nd job. So there were times that I didn't get to see her until she got home late. It kind of sucked that she had to work so much, but I knew that she had to do what she had to do in order to take care of her bills and stuff. This time around we basically did all the things that we missed out on doing the last time that I was there. We went to Stone Mountain, we went to Six Flags and we even drove over to South Carolina so that I could meet her Aunt.
I stayed there from April 23 - May 10 and had a great time. She plans on coming here to visit me once summer is done so I will be looking forward to that. Until then I will be here feeling lonely and missing her. I suppose school will help to keep me busy enough so that it doesn't get to me too badly. I'm actually glad to be back at school so that I can get this over with. I'm tired being in school and this semester is finally my last! After I'm done from school I have a lot of work ahead of me. Of course the biggest thing being finding a good job. Well actually that might be only part of it. I really want to move out my house. I'm tired being here and it was honestly my plan to be gone from here once I was finished school. As things stand I'm actually planning on moving down to Georgia to be with Myra. One of her friend's parents actually offered me a job based on what I'm taking at school and I'm kind of excited about that. By the same token I'm kind of worried because I don't exactly know how concrete his offer is. I'm not sure whether it'll be something short term or something that could be long term. The last thing I want is to move down there and have to start searching for work from scratch without any solid leads. Also the issue of where I would live would come into play as well. Myra's sister offered to let us stay there, but after staying there twice already I can't see it happening. Myra and her nephew are constantly arguing and beefing and it would be nothing but a headache to stay there. Her mother offered to let us stay there as well, but I don't know if she really means it or not and if so how that would work out. The ideal situation would be for us to have a place of our own, but I don't know if that will happen right away. I'm optimistic about the future and hopefully everything works out for the best.
