Another Day Without You

Jul 31, 2004 20:54

I look to your place in the bed and see nothing but a messy silhouette of sheets where you belong.

Where have you gone? I need you here.

In the shower, I reach to wash the places you always got but my skin aches for your familiar touch.

Come back to me so I have nothing to fear.

On the way to work, my phone is silent. No call to say "I love you sweetie and have a nice day".

What must I do to have you near?

I turn the car into the oncoming lane of traffic, no time for the semi to stop.

I can't stand another day without you. Haven't I made it clear?
