Cheer Chen Rock Records Compilation
If you're only familiar with Cheer's more recent albums like "Immortal"/"太阳," then you can try out some of her older songs on this compilation. If you've never heard Cheer at all, then you're really missing out! Unlike the many mass-produced songstresses in Taiwan's music industry, Cheer doesn't need to market her albums based on sexy looks or dancing. Her songs have a certain simplicity that you quickly fall in love with, kind of like A-Yue's ballads. She seems too much like an indie singer to be a pop singer. She's written songs for other singers and has recorded a song with the band Mayday.
