What's with the chair, Jay?!

I was looking at the pictures here and I have to wonder what's with the chair.  Jay is sitting in a wheelchair directing "Pandamen" (because, according to Jay2U, parts of it need to be changed so it'll past the censors in Mainland China).  I've read that he's hurt himself filming the fight scenes in some of the movies he's been in.  (He's hurt his left hand to the point that he was afraid he wouldn't be able to play the piano at one point and at one point he thought he was going blind, but he'd just lost his contacts.)  I'm willing to take these articles with a grain of salt, but these pictures are a problem.  Sure, directors get to sit in a chair while everyone else runs around, but a wheelchair?!  Maybe it's his spinal problem.  I just find it odd that there's no explanation for him sitting in a wheelchair in these pictures.

Now he says his album's going to come out in either February or March.  He says that it's going to be shocking.  Yeah, Jay, you said that last time and then it was shockingly bad!  And, no, Jay, the Americans are not going to learn Mandarin just because they saw you in one Hollywood movie.  Otherwise, we'd all be speaking Cantonese because of Jackie Chan. XD
