I promise, no spoilers!
Squee, John Simm is awesome, and I didn't have to sit through half an episode figuring out that he's the Master! Granted, I'm not sure how the (sudden?) appearance of the drums in the Master's head will fly with those who actually watched the classic series. I loved the bit where the Doctor's all, "you've been watching too much TV", 'cause he was totally pointing fingers at the internet for obsessing over the throwaway line in Smith and Jones where he says he's got a brother (and the corroborating evidence where there was a thing in the classic series where the Master was gonna be the Doctor's brother, but they couldn't make the episode for some reason).
And boo, I'll be in Finland for the series finale. I suppose it would be karmic for someone to ruin the ending for me (I made a vague statement that could, in retrospect, only be interpreted one way, and thus ruined the ending of Life On Mars for Alex P and Bryce), and so I'm going to avoid talking about Doctor Who further until I get back (unless I have awesome relatives who also watch filch it from the net).
