[ He knew this was the last time they were ever going to see each other. He knew that he was leaving and that she alone would be the one with the memories of their short time together. Short for him at least, and yet- there is no doubt that it was a time to be treasured and remembered despite of that. Someday she will also leave this place, and ( Read more... )

[ She doesn't know why exactly, but.. there's somewhat of a slightly sad feeling about today. Even if she's really happy and glad that Japan went through all the effort of taking her out to this place, she still can't shake off the feeling that something is off.

But there's no reason to worry too much about that right now, not when she's here at this mall with Japan. She should focus on having fun with a person she gets along with, she understands that much. And so Nadeko puts a tiny smile on her face. ]

I'm glad.. Thank you, Japan-san. [ a nod. ] The toy store sounds like fun to me. I'd like to look at all the cute plushies..

Then let us go. [ He takes her hand-- the way a father will hold his daughter's hand, gently and carefully, and will lead her to the toy store. ]

After that, we can visit other shops as well. Also, she does not have to limit herself to looking at things. If there is anything she wishes to get, then it will be bought, so please say so if there is anything like that.

[ And she will walk along, somewhat happily at the touch - it is a little reminiscent of her own father in a way, and since she hasn't seen him in quite a while it feels nice. Especially since it's someone she likes to be around holding her hand like that.

At the suggestion her look quickly turns to one of surprise instead though. ]

... N-no way.. Are you serious, Japan-san? Y.. you really don't have to do that much for me, you know..

Yes, I am. Please do not worry, I am doing this because I wish to. Think of today as a special day of fun where there are none of the usual restrictions.

Well, restrictions are one thing, but I'd feel a little bad if Japan-san would spend a lot of money on me..

[ She does look a little bit happy at all of this though. ]

Do not worry about money. That is not a problem at all.

[ Saying this as they walk inside of the store, led by him. ]

[ And.. well, for a moment she can't quite contain herself as she quickly patters over to the huge display with plushies all over, staring at them with big and somewhat excited eyes, even if there's still something fumbly about her movements as always.

For a few moments she wanders, but then she stops in front of a rabbit plushie like the white one here. ]

Ah.. This one is.. very, very cute.

[ SO ADORABLE OH GOD HE CAN'T HANDLE ALL THIS CUTE IYAAAN you're going to give him diabetes and then kill him from cuteness overdose, nadeko.

He follows her and leans in slightly to take a closer look at the plushie in question. ] Yes, it certainly is, isn't it? Does Sengoku-san want it?

[ oh no that would be a rather sad end to the thread, with Japan dying from cuteness overload.. ]

I.. I would feel a little bad for asking such a thing from Japan-san, but.. at the same time I would be very happy to have it..

There is no need to feel bad. If it will make Sengoku-san happy, I will buy it. [ He takes it from the shelf. ] Anything else? Please feel free to take a good look around.

[ iyaaan, Japan is the best not!dad..

She patters over to some other shelves, but she probably doesn't find anything she would want THAT BADLY that she would dare ask Japan for something else, so she returns to him, shaking her head a little. ]

Hmm, no.. that much is just fine, Japan-san.

If that is what you say. Alright then, we should go pay for this. [ Her plushie in hand, he heads for the counter... but there's a bit of a line there so they'll have to wait a bit. ]

W-wow, a line this big..

[ Well, Nadeko finds all kinds of lines big, but still. She eyes Japan for a moment. ]

You don't mind waiting for a bit here with me..? I-if it's too much of a bother, we can go put it back..

Eh? But it's simply a line. Having to wait is no reason not to buy it if Sengoku-san wants it.

Well, I know some people really, really dislike waiting, and if Japan-san were that sort of person, I.. I wouldn't want to bother him by forcing him to do something like this..

[ a sigh, but he's smiling ] Honestly... you worry too much, Sengoku-san. [ Not that he's one to talk, really... ] Even if I were that sort of person, it would be no trouble to me.
