When MTV was at its boom, I remember seeing a lot of Smashing Pumpkins video. They were everywhere. They were a breed of their own but I didn't really pay much attention. Aside from Billy Corgan being bald and pale white, and having a female guitarist (which was a big deal back then), this other guy got my attention and I can still vividly recall

i remember Smashing Pumpkins because they came out with eccentric, out-of-the-box music videos and of course, they had the most diversed band members back in the 90's (alternative rock had masters in nirvana,red hot chili peppers and smashing pumpkins)... it felt like listening to a tom waitts album but with less melancholia and heartaches...music is really a great blessing from God...i'm so blessed to appreciate it with you girl :) ♥ ♥ ♥

are a fresh alternative to the usual heartbreak/love/ballad pop songs
where lines like "i miss you", "I'm lonely without you", or "can't live without you"... blah blah... are commonplace and getting a
bit too whiny :) tamang-tama talaga for summer.
