I get a certain amount of good days and then a really bad day, followed by two or three days of shaky uncertainty. Everything up until yesterday was beautiful. Then I opened up my big mouth and had to be slapped shut. Today was better than yesterday, and tomorrow will be better still, and then I can be happy until the next time something horrible happens. I can remember Wednesday, the 4th May, which was a day so horrible that I can still remember the date, even now.

I went and saw Brokeback Mountain and it was a pretty decent movie. I thought the steamy kiss scene outside of Mr. Seme's house was better than the actually gay sex scene, however. That's just me, though. Katherine was fanning herself all throughout the movie, and I was just giggling like a silly girl. Yeah, it was a good movie, but some spaces in it were empty. It could have done with a little more, I dunno, tenderness.
I watched Evangelion tonight, because I was bored and a little too nervous to write.
Seriously though, I want to leave home as soon as I can.
Played with the machines in Makai Kingdom. I gave Annette a motorcycle, Clive a painted war buggy, Ravendor some dark gear, and Warren a cute little white hovery thing with angel wings and a seedling propellor.
I'm listening to the live Hawkwind recording of Paradox, the one where they pulled Douglas Adams on stage and let him play with the other group members. That totally rocked. I love the fact that my favorite old metal band also had one of my favorite authors in it. :D
