Went and saw 'Sin City' with Chris last night and the movie was brilliant. I loved all the black and white imagery with the white and red highlights, the incredible amount of violence and bloodshed, the witty and laugh out loud humor, and the positively wonderful way all four sections of plot join together perfectly. It was excellent. Because we went to the late late late showing, we were the only ones in the cinema, meaning that we could scream with laughter, put our feet up on the seats and throw things at the screen if they were funny enough. When the yellow bastard came on screen I threw my popcorn at him. ^_^
Oh, and Elijah Wood makes a fucking freaky bad guy, with the silence and the evil-Bill-Gates look, and the eating of the hookers and the ninja moves. Evil ninja cannibal Bill Gates? It worked... O_o
Heh, his character got what he deserved. ^_^
What else? Oh, the hookers acting as the police force was pretty cool too. *Nodnod* There wasn't two minutes in which I wasn't entertained in that movie. I give it five stars.
It was midnight when the film ended, so when I got home I was totally bushed. It made me really tired at school today, but I had a nap at 3PM so it was all good. I only woke up from it about three hours ago.
My weekend is going to be incredibly busy, along with the week that comes after it. I have a dress rehersal tomorrow at 5PM, then I work the day after, and then I have 6 hours of rehersal on Monday, and 5 on Tuesday, then regular school until the next weekend. By that time I should have my whole script perfectly memorised. These weekend evenings I have to finished my secondary script as well. What a load of ****...
I am going to have the best sleep and dreams in the universe tonight, just to spite the week ahead. ^_^
