I finished the Dark Tower series! Wow, it felt like I went through a journey itself in it's reading. Also, it took me a year and a little longer to read the whole thing. What an adventure.
And the ending? Amazing. Thoughtful. Cruel. Genius. Devillish.
It was an ending I did not expect, and that made it evilly delightful. Oh Gan, in the end you are just as much of a bastard as the Crimson King.
Kind of cried a little in the epilogue, because it was just so perfect.
Phew. The Ellie Chronicles are next.
I also went to Penrith today to talk to Mission Australia. Along the way I bought some lemon ice cream because I forgot to eat breakfast. The wind was blowing all over the place and messing up my hair, which has grown incredibly long in only one year. If I can survive this summer without chopping it all off I'm going to wait a year and see just how long I can grow it before it becomes a nuisance.
... Well, it already is a nuisance. It takes over twenty four hours just for it to dry out completely after a wash. In this hot weather I think I'm developing a Hermione haircut. Hee hee.
I was too busy to write today. Tomorrow I have nothing scheduled, so hopefully I can write then. Lately I've become re-addicted to Harvest Moon and I've been playing that in my spare time. Something about that series just enchants me. I don't really know why. There's no combat at all.
Long days and pleasant nights.
