This is what pretzelcoatl gave me. (I meant to do it last night but fell asleep)

1)Celtic mythology
I started playing in the SCA in 1994: I was a Celt from the Isle of Man, first century CE. Naturally this led to study. There is a spiritual component to my old group. I suppose you would call it Celtic Reconstructionism? I’m not sure, I only heard it called “pagan”. I received a lot of instruction from those cats and while I don’t do Celtic Recon now-I’m not sure what I do-I still consider myself a Celt.

2)Poetry
I started writing and reading poetry as a little kid. It’s always been something that’s been a part of my life. In the 90s I went to a handful of readings and slams (usually at the invitation of my then-friend, future ex (azureoceanlight) but didn’t participate. It wasn’t until I started dating my ex that I stepped more into that world. Now, a huge part of my social & creative life is centered around “the poetry scene”. Most of my close Delaware friends and a number of my internet friends are writers/performers or readers/watchers of poetry. I find it funny when people talk about being intimidated by going to a poetry reading: it’s just a bunch of dorkwads getting their art on; everyone’s welcome.

3) Shoegazing
The music of my wild years. Grunge was happening at the time but I was unimpressed. I liked jangly and swirly walls of guitars. Still do. :)

4) Tea
Tea? I like tea just fine. I don’t drink coffee, so if I’m going to drink a hot drink it will be tea. I occasionally do herbal concoctions as well. The best cup of tea I’ve ever had in my life was the one I had after standing around in 15 degree weather to see Biden and Obama in January.

5) Bald guys
Ha. I don’t know; I just think bald guys are cute. I don’t know if I can explain it. It’s not, like, fetish-level or anything, but I am more likely to turn and give a guy a second look if he has a shaved or stubbly head. In my post-marriage dating adventures I have had a huge, painful and fruitless crush on a bald guy and dated a couple of bald guys. I’ve also dated someone with hair down to the middle of his back. Maybe it has something to do with, um, possessing unconventional beauty myself, and thus I am charmed by what many guys are sensitive about in themselves? I don't know.
