I'm getting weirder and weirder with every passing day...
so the Cleo kitty is almost 100 percent better. Thanks for the concern. She's back to her grumpy self.
I sent in a buncha resumes lately, now waiting to hear back from them before I make any other definite plans.
That co-worker of mine that I couldn't stand? yeah, damn her. She's making it really hard for me to dislike her when she's being friendly and nice. darn it. We ended up talking for almost 2 hours instead of really working. Turns out she's a huge manga and anime fan, loves vampires and werewolves, has 3 rabbits, and loves rugby. Darn her, now I can't keep disliking her. Oh well.
So lately I've been on this kick where I'm listening almost to nothing but old school jazz and blues music like Billie Holiday, Rosemary Clooney, Nat King Cole, and all the rest. Or if I'm not listening to that I'm listening to more obscure bands like Magnetic Fields, Hellogoodbye, and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. I don't really know where this music kick has come from.
I've also gotten really into manga right now. I went and bought a buncha new books by Chuck Palinuck (spelling is totally wrong on that last name, I know), Bill Bryson, and another really good author whose name I can't spell. And instead of reading those I've been doing nothing but reading manga. Not that there's anything wrong with manga but I never really got so addicted to it as I have now.
So to recap: I'm waiting for job responses while listening to music that was popular during my grandparents era and reading Japanese comics at the same time and slowly getting along really well with my co-worker.
Tomorrow I'm getting Polish food! I'm so starved for Polish food and flavours that I've begun adding dill to everything... then again I've been adding a lot of seaweed to my food too.
My god, returning home has completely messed up my entire mental stability.
