Damn you, Protoss!

Hmm....been a little while since I last updated.

Let's see, the last couple of days I finally beat Mega Man Zero 2. Elpizo is probably the gayest final boss ever. And I don't mean gay as in easy or stupid, I mean his first form was literally gay. Pink aura surrounding him, fencing moves, hilarious Japanese voice, and a stupid energy-draining attack that heals him. Fun stuff. :P I'm also continuing with the MGS2: Substance pwnage. I thought I was stuck for a while, the cooling spray made me go insane. I pretty much have to smash the button down for it to work, and you know me, I don't like beating up controllers, so you can imagine my fight with Fatman was fun. Hearing from a friend what he's like on Extreme, I pretty much cried. I died 6 times I think, on NORMAL. I just suck at Metal Gear games, and most games in general. It's like any FPS, I can never be at the level of the pros. It doesn't matter if I practice, I still suck. (Army, Counter-Strike, Halo) I might be better than the n00bs, but it's not much of consolation prize. Speaking of suckage, I beat the 9th Terran mission in StarCraft tonight. I think it's safe to say it's going to take a lot of bribe money to make me play StarCraft and the expansion more than once, which I'm working on....slowly. I can play games like this, but I just don't have the multi-tasking abilities needed to measure up the best, I guess.

Now for a tale of boredom. A few days ago, in my waiting for ANBU-AonE Naruto 86-87 and AF-F Chrno Crusade 24, I decided I needed something to watch in the world of anime. I go to AnimeSuki and browse around looking for something. I see fairly close to the top a pack for Cosmopolitan Prayers 1-8. At the time I thought it was supposed to be 12 episodes, but after seeing the final episode it's definitely only 8 episodes. But anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself. I look at the picture at the AnimeInfo place, the picture looks pretty cool. I read one sentence or so. Magical adventure, hmm...this might be ok. I shall not read into any forum topics because they might sway me from downloading it. I'll give it a shot. Now, I'm really bad with downloading anything. I end up liking it a lot, then I need to burn them onto CD's for archiving purposes. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien was a show I heard was good (Thanks, DC) and I was hooked after one episode. It's too bad that this show will probably never get licensed, otherwise I would buy it. Chrno Crusade, a show I loved after only seeing one episode, I got only because it just started in Japan, and the logo is so close to Chrono Trigger/Cross. I took a gamble and won. But a person can't win them all...

...

ZzzZzzz....huh? Oh, oops.

So, actually, the show in question it was only 8 episodes that were about 12 minutes each. I'm grateful that it was that short to begin with. I won't go into spoilers, since I truthfully don't remember much about the show anyway. It starts with a girl who is going to cosplay as her favorite video game character or something, she goes to the top of this building, picks up a watch thing and...blam. Lots of weird stuff happens. The name of the show is weird, bacause of the Japanese "R/L" thing. Mega Man/Rockman fans, think Dr. Light/Dr. Right. So, really, it should be Cosmopolitan Players, since they call themselves CosPrayers, er....CosPlayers...because they cosplay, or something. Yeah. Anyway, I'll get to the positives first. The animation was really nice, it was widescreen, and generally the fight scenes were cool and fun to watch. It didn't have an opening, but the ending song was catchy, apparently to go along with the ecchi ending. Good enough for me, but... unfortunately, the story just sucked. Rarely was I able to figure out what was going on, and the show would never tell you either. I like how in the first episode, the main girl meets the other 4 fighters, and yet around the 3rd episode, 3 of the girls are "off on their own" fighting, and they meet up again and act like they've never met before. They never explain where they went or why. The viewer is left wondering what they're fighting for. Ok, a few episodes later. Oh okay, you're fighting to destroy evil towers so you can save the world. Ok, at least you told me that. Also, there's this guy. One of the chicks really likes him I guess. Later on it's revealed he's one of the bad guys, or is he? *gasp* Whoops, sorry, the main chick didn't believe him and ran off to destroy the towers. For whatever the reason, the guy does S&M and stuff on the remaining girls to get rid of their doubts or something. So really, the chick ghost princess...thing they were fighting for was the real evil person *gasp* and the guy is good. But the guys' guys still fight the girls. (WTF?) Meh.....I can't really think anymore, it just wasn't that good. I ended up looking far back into the AnimeSuki forums and reading a nice 9 page topic about the anime. Wow.....not one person liked it. My favorite part was reading from this one guy, and I quote "Tennis Racket Orgasmatron" a battle sequence from the fourth episode or so. Yeah....you'll just have to find out yourself. The fact that I was almost ready to fall asleep during watching it might have something to do with me staying up all night, that and it was boring. Who knows, maybe if I wan't tired and I never read the topic, I might have liked the series 1% more or so. Moral of the story: You can't win every gamble. :P

Most people know that I'm an anime whore that likes pretty much anything anime. Well....I shall give out my list of anime that I really don't like. It's t3h small.

Dislike:

Reign The Conqueror (Hm...it might be because of the constant nut-cup sightings. But really I had a hard time following it and just didn't catch my interest.)
CosPrayers! (Dun dun dunnnnn)
Ghost in the Shell (movie) Granted, I was tired while watching this too, so I bet if I watch it again I'll probably like it. It just seemed boring at the time, that and it was hard to follow.

I can't think of very good reasons to dislike something, huh?

....Oh, and right now I'm downloading Da Capo 1-13. I'm pretty sure this will be more to my liking. xD

*flees to watch Detective Conan*
