Okay - the one thing that pisses me off more than anything (which ellyn just showed to me) are those stupid, idiotic crappy websites that are written by stupid pathetic teenagers who write their stupid pathetic poems about cutting themselves and how much they hate their lives and how the knife feels good and how their parents are out to get them - yeah, your situation might be bad, you could be getting molested or raped or abused or whatever...that's bad go ahead be upset...but for all you idiots who sit there and write that because your boyfriend dumped you, or the other stupid people who just sit there and complain and do NOTHING...just shut the hell up. You live in a country where, obviously, if you have access to a computer and an email account and probably AOL, you're not poor. You're quite well off, and compared to some poor kid in Siberia who's literally on the streets looking for food while his mother's dying and there are 4 year olds taking care of themselves because their parents are dead...people who see their family members get raped murdered and killed right before their eyes...so many people have it worse than you. Be thankful that you have a life, you have a roof over your head you go to school and even if you don't you're not naked starving diseased malnutritioned in pain constantly and bleeding from a head injury recently given by some asshole who tried to molest you that morning. Just shut the hell up, stop complaining online and go get yourself some damn help - either that or a good ass kicking because you need to wake up and realize that your so called problems that you like to broadcast to the world that you mutilate yourself because no one understands you - those problems, yeah some of them mihgt be good - but for you assholes who don't know what problems are, shut the hell up. Stop bringing the rest of the world down with your pathetic sorry-ass and go get your ass kicked because you really need to wake up from your little dream world that revolves around you. For those of you who write things like that and really do have a problem, no, you're not alone, there are people like you, yes, but please realize that joining a whole group of people with the same problems who don't do anything about it but write and write and write and continue their behavior will only cause you to be a walking novel on how much you hurt yourself every day and a corpse by the time you're 14. Talk to your parents. A friend. Someone. You have options, stop denying that you have them, because if you didn't have any options you wouldn't have access to a computer.
To the people who cry and write poems about how society is trying to change them : you too are wearing what all your friends are wearing...you're doing what all your friends are doing...clothes don't make you a conformist. Sharing similar ideas doens't make you a conformist. What makes you a conformist is if you feel like someone is telling you how to think and you don't know enough information to form your own opinion and you don't go find it. That's a conformist. So shutup about how people supposedly want you to wear Abercrombie and Fitch rather than what you have on - no one gives a shit what you wear. If you're in high school you obviously know this. And if they do, screw them that's gay and you know it, so why does it have to bother you? If you honestly think the world is trying to get you to think a certain way, and you DO think that way, that doesn't mean you're a conformist. You're a conformist if you automatically either take or DON"T take their opinion. You need to go find information yourself and form your own. So stop whining, get off your ass, out of your little black notebook of stupid poems about how the world is out to get you, and go find out what you want to know in a healthy way (I know some people will take that and say "Well I wanted to know if O.D.ing on aspirin is really so bad as everyone says it is...I didn't want to be a conformist so I did it and I followed your advice...now I'm dead and it's all your fault."
