I sure haven't really updated in a while. I think partially because I'm so boring, and partially because I can't see anybody caring about what I'm up to HOWEVER I might be wrong and I'm bored so I'm gonna. I just moved into this sweet ass apartment on South Street.

My cell phone has been out of commision, as those of you who like me have probably noticed, for the past week or so. Sorry about that. I'm working on it. It's tough, what with the $2700 upfront for this apartment and being out of work for the past 2 weeks. But I just got a paycheck and my security deposit from my last place is forthcoming (fingers crossed). So um, patience? I do go online from time to time, and I will certainly respond to email (pete@3e.org) so I'm in touch. And as for work, I'm starting the official manager training at either the Rittenhouse or 12th and Walnut Cosi, assuming my interview with the personel chick goes okay, next week or thereabouts. I hope it's the 12th and Walnut store because Dolly and Kyle who used to work in Bryn Mawr are working there and that would be sweet. After 6 weeks (hopefully they don't make me do the entire 6 fucking week program) I hope to be working at 2nd and Lombard where Carl, Hadley, and Chach work. They are also Bryn Mawr vets and some of the coolest people I know (Cosi-wise and otherwise, really). So um, theres a lot in the air right now about all that. But I mean, where ever it is I'll be working I'll be making salary so it can't be too bad.
Okay, about the apartment. It's a two bedroom, technically. You walk in (assuming you go in the main door) to the room that we don't really know what to do with. It's kind of a dining room slash office slash what the fuck. Straight ahead theres a bigass closet that we've made the changing slash clothing storage room. To the left of that room, sticking off the what the fuck room is the kitchen. Pretty nice sized kitchen, I gotta say. Certainly bigger, probably about doubly, than the one in my old apartment if you're familiar. Then back to where you first enter, directly to your left (when entering the apartment) is the bathroom. Now this is a little strange, it kinda hinges the apartment's two halves together. If you make another quick left in the bathroom you're looking down the hall to the other half. Right on your left outside the bathroom is the other entrance to the apartment. Straight across is the smaller of the two "bedrooms". It's carpeted and has floor to ceiling mirrors against the back wall. Fucking cool. It's the bedroom... just a bed, end table and TV. Back to the hallway, straight down to the end (coming from the bathroom) is a much bigger room. It is our living room slash chill room slash coolest room ever. It has hardwood floors and looks straight out on South Street. The wall on the left (if you're just coming in the room) is composed entirely of floor to ceiling mirrors. Fucking. Cool.
Now for the roommate. Her name is Sara, she was a friend from Cosi, but a couple days before we moved in we kinda got together in a more than friend/roommate way if you know what I'm saying. You know. Huh? Huh? Uh.
She's the shit, she has the best taste in music. Basically mine. She graduated from Bryn Mawr last semester with a degree in computer science. She's working down at the Continental Midtown (presently actually). And she won a fellowship to do pottery at Penn this summer. She just started throwing on a wheel last semester but she's already ridiculously talented and prolific. We have a sweet display shelf of her work so far. Come by and check it out. Seriously.
So um. Life is pretty good right now. Hope yours is as well. I know I'm making it difficult, but do try and get in touch with me. I miss people. And if you're ever in the neighborhood, and it's a cool neighborhood, come by and ring the bell. It's a little gated entrance right next to the Olympia II Pizza Restaurant. The buzzer is right inside the gate I think. Somewhere. Find it. Or yell at my windows. They're usually open. Come by.
