I am thrilled and delighted at how my birthday turned out yesterday. It was quiet but lovely all the same. On Thursday I was advised that I'd be off on Friday since I'd run out of work and had to wait for HR clearance on the job specs I'd written. For my 40th birthday I had an awesome party with awesome people, including HB. In cleaning up some things I just found the card he gave me at the time.
