Information for the Heathens...If They Want It
So, I had a really cute picture of my nephew but, I'm computer inept and can't figure out how to get them here. I posted them in my pictures in my MySpace account. So, if anyone wants to see him...he's there.
I'm still lookin' up that circumcision thing. I just found a verse that basically says wear your jewness on the outside as well as inside (speaking to gentiles). Just found another verse about what causes homosexuality...apparently if you exchange the truth of God's existence for a lie...you commit sexually immoral acts and that's the cause of homosexuality and fornication (Romans 1:23-32). In short, we're all delusional liars who refuse to see the truth. Ha,ha...heathens.
Oh my god...I found my argument for circumcision. The freakin' Bible says that it doesn't matter whether you're circumcised or not; keeping God's laws is what matters(1 Corinthians 7:19). The same idea can be found in Galatians 5:6, as well. That's twice in the New Testament that he said it but they still believe it's the christian thing to do. Poor Elijah. If only I could've found it in time. This of course, is typical of your modern day christians. Find the verse/passage that backs up your argument and run with it...forget whatever else it says.
I think most people circumcise because of health reasons or because they don't want their kid to feel different but most christians do it because they feel it makes you pure. It started as a jewish idea to make things "kosher". It looks to me like a few gentiles were just trying to "jew" their way into heaven and it's been passed down as a glorified rule. This is why I'm a freaking Deist. I have converts now. My sister and her self proclaimed atheist boyfriend have converted to Deism. I doubt I can convince my family so, I'll continue to let them believe what they want until I can preach the truth from a safe distance.
