Overheard
In case you ever wanted to know what conversations are like in this house.
Boyfriend: Human nature... we're the only beings on the planet like that. Except maybe armadillos.
Girlfriend: Or emus.
Boyfriend: I dunno about that.
Girlfriend: Yeah I've never studied emu social behavior. But now I'm getting images of an emu telling another emu, "I'm sorry; I've fallen in love with an ostrich." And the other emu is all like, "Why? Is his schlong bigger than mine?"
Boyfriend: *laughs*
Girlfriend: You know, the place where I was born is now an emu farm.
Boyfriend: You mean the actual place where you popped out of your mother's--
Girlfriend: No! I didn't mean my mother's vagina is an emu farm!
Boyfriend: ... ... That explains a lot.
