I once asked someone 'What is so special about the Watchmen series' and they told me that it was unlike any superhero story they had ever read. (Not counting 'Jonah Hex, btw) Well, I never quite got around to reading the graphic novel but I did make it to the movie today and I have to say... See, you should read the comic, if you haven't. There's a lot in there that was stated or was glossed over in the movie. The movie did stay very true to the book, but the ending was changed(still similar outcomes

I already ordered the graphic novel, and shall read it when it comes in. What I got from the movie though was outstanding and way above 80% of most superhero films anyway. As for the 'Halt evil doer,'I could actually care less about the good side, I wanted to see more of the bad side. All in all, I probably will be seeing the movie again soon.

yeah, i'm probably going to see it again soon.. even with the gratuitous bone cracking in "tch oooow" ways. Every time I see that kind of stuff or anyone i know who sees it does the same thing.. cringe
