ME, MYSELF AND I
List a few of your positive and negative traits (feel free to elaborate):
Positive: Independent, dominant, quiet, a leader, intelligent, serious, coy, playful, non-judgemental, gentle, kind, polite, sensitive, articulate, focused, tender, ambitious, resilient, diligent, caring.
Negative: Stubborn, hidden emotions (It simmers under the surface, and can make myself fall apart when I least expect it if I've bottled too much up), too independent, too trusting, sensitive, a workaholic, easily frustrated with own abilities when I can't accomplish something right away, bottles emotions, afraid of being conquered, tamed, or hurt by someone I dare to trust. Consequently usually avoids the issues of relationships, even if I may want one or secretly like someone. Self-preservation, I suppose.
Describe your personality (how you see yourself), feel free to use different tests:
Ipersonic:
♥ Analytical Thinkers:
-Reserved, quiet persons.
-Like to get to the bottom of things
-Modest persons with sharp intellect, quickly and comprehensively grasp patterns, principles and structures.
-Analytical Thinkers like to work alone; their ability to concentrate is more marked than that of all other personality types.
-Analytical Thinkers have little interest in everyday concerns - home and workplace are chaotic, only concerns himself with banalities such as bodily needs when it becomes absolutely unavoidable.
-The acknowledgement of their work by others does not play a great role for them; in general, they are quite independent of social relationships and very self-reliant.
-Analytical Thinkers therefore often give others the impression that they are arrogant or snobby - especially because they do not hesitate to speak their mind with their often harsh (even if justified) criticism and their imperturbable self-confidence. Incompetent contemporaries do not have it easy with them.
-Whoever succeeds in winning their respect and interest has a witty and very intelligent person to talk to. A partner who amazes one with his excellent powers of observation and his very dry humour.
Adjectives:
Introverted, theoretical, logical, spontaneous, rational, analytical, intellectual, sceptical, pensive, critical, quiet, precise, independent, creative, inventive, abstract, eccentric, curious, reserved, self-involved, imaginative, determined, modest, careful, incommunicative, witty.
♥ Also, my Myers-Briggs personality:
-Idealists are incurable romantics who prefer to focus on what might be, rather than what is. The real, practical world is only a starting place for Idealists; they believe that life is filled with possibilities waiting to be realized, rich with meanings calling out to be understood. This idea of a mystical or spiritual dimension to life, the "not visible" or the "not yet" that can only be known through intuition or by a leap of faith, is far more important to Idealists than the world of material things.
Highly ethical in their actions, Idealists hold themselves to a strict standard of personal integrity. They must be true to themselves and to others, and they can be quite hard on themselves when they are dishonest, or when they are false or insincere. More often, however, Idealists are the very soul of kindness. Particularly in their personal relationships, Idealists are without question filled with love and good will. They believe in giving of themselves to help others; they cherish a few warm, sensitive friendships; they strive for a special rapport with their children; and in marriage they wish to find a "soulmate," someone with whom they can bond emotionally and spiritually, sharing their deepest feelings and their complex inner worlds.

♥Enegram Type Three:The Achiever:
-The "stars" of human nature,
-People often look up to them because of their graciousness and personal accomplishments.
-They are usually well regarded and popular among their peers, the type of person who is frequently voted “class president" or “home coming queen”
-Threes act as living “role models” and paragons because of their extraordinary embodiment of socially valued qualities.
-Threes will try to become somebody noteworthy in their family and their community. They will not be a “nobody.”
-They want success because they are afraid of disappearing into a chasm of emptiness and worthlessness: without the increased attention and feeling of accomplishment which success usually brings, Threes fear that they are nobody and have no value.
-The problem is that, in the headlong rush to achieve whatever they believe will make them more valuable, Threes can become so alienated from themselves that they no longer know what they truly want, or what their real feelings or interests are. In this state, they are easy prey to self-deception. From their earliest years, as Threes become dependent on receiving attention from others and in pursuing the values that others reward, they gradually lose touch with themselves. Step by step, their own inner core, their “heart’s desire,” is left behind until they no longer recognize it.
-Thus, while they are the primary type in the Feeling Center, Threes, interestingly, are not known as “feeling” people; rather, they are people of action and achievement. It is as if they “put their feelings in a box” so that they can get ahead with what they want to achieve. Threes have come to believe that emotions get in the way of their performance, so they substitute thinking and practical action for feelings.
-Threes report that when they realize to what extent they have adapted their lives to the expectations of others, the question arises, “Well, then, what do I want?” They often simply did not know; it was not a question that had ever come up before. Thus, the fundamental dilemma of Threes is that they have not been allowed to be who they really are and to manifest their own authentic qualities. At a young age, they got the message that they were not allowed to have feelings and be themselves: they must, in effect, be someone else to be accepted. To some degree, all of the personality types have been sent the same message, but because of their particular background and makeup, Threes not only heard it, they began to live by it. The attention they received by performing in a certain way was their oxygen, and they needed it to breathe. Unfortunately, it came at a high price.
Describe how other people see you (strangers, friends, family): Strangers and friends I find often see me as someone completely different to what I see myself. They see me as an easygoing, outgoing passionate person. Strangely enough, I've always seen myself as the polar opposite, but I think I'm much more snarky and extroverted then I probably give myself credit for. Family I think, see me as I actually am; a combination of the two. I can be extremely shy or extremely outgoing and giddy, prickly and impatient or as a supporter. It all depends on what I feel like being like on that day or what best serves me well in confronting different people.
What motivates you in life? The need to be somebody. If I'm not accompilishing something, I do feel like nothing really matters, what I'm doing. If I'm not able to understand something usually, I panic or anger quickly. I don't like not being good at things and I don't like not being acknowledged or seen as multi-talented or accomplished. It's never for anyone else, it's solely my own insecurities.
WHAT ARE YOUR PET PEEVES AND DISLIKES? Screaming babies and loud noises, drunks, rudeness. Unkindness.

YOUR APPEARANCE AND STYLE
When going out, do you take a lot of time to get ready or not? I try to, even if I may not feel about it.
What can we find in your wardrobe? As I said, I lean more towards clean lines and classic silouettes. I don't like anything too revealing, but I do like things that are evocative of my personality. At six feet, I don't usually wear anything too poufy or strange, but I do love anything vintage and I have a penchant for scarves, jackets, and sunglasses. In my wardrobe, I probably have six pairs of shoes, six scarves, about three pairs of trousers/jeans/pants, lots of t-shirts and jackets, then obviously underwear and probably three pairs of sunglasses as well. Then three bags on the door. I like a simple look, I don't usually wear jewelry. I have a penchant for messenger bags. XD
Describe your style (feel free to include pictures)! I think the best description of my style is that old adage, "Dress for the job you want, not the job you have". I really try not to dress like a student and more like a business-oriented twenty-something year old, even though I don't always succeed (I'd rather sleep in than step up my dress just that one level) When I dress up I want to look together and statuesque. My clothes are minimalistic because I mean business in everything I do, and I want my clothes to reflect that. I only really slob it up when I get home, when I IMMEDIATELY change into something like a baggy sports shirt and PJ pants, or a sweattop three sizes too big for me and volleyball spandex |DDD I don't care what I look like at home or sometimes on errands, but getting dressed during the day I definitely gear it towards the career I want, not the current studentdom I'm involved in. I'd wear sweattops everywhere probably though if it was socially acceptable and the height of chic |D

Post a few pictures of yourself or describe your physical appearance! Six feet tall, dimples, auburn-brown hair, green eyes, athletic frame, medium-length hair.

Picture of me taken in my huge XL school sweattop with no makeup on at home, forgive the horrors xD
![](http://pics.livejournal.com/corleoned/pic/0099p83e)
Me actually wearing makeup, looking quite afraid and fed up |D
![](http://pics.livejournal.com/corleoned/pic/009a17wx)
And a hint of the dimples. They get quite deep when I go into a full-fledged smile, but I'm quite self-concious about my teeth even though I have no reason to be and my teeth are completely straight. I think my nose looks horrendous when I smile |D -blush-
EVERYDAY LIFE
Places one could find you at (why do you like to hang around there?): Library, bedroom, gym, walking around seeing the sights of the city or town. I like to do things that involve accomplishing something. If I feel in control of myself and my body, I feel in control of everything else.
Places you dislike (why?): Any place noisy, overwhelming, etc for extended periods of time. For example, I like sporting events, but I also need my private time. I could NEVER spend an entire night at some awful pub or bar. It's my idea of hell |D
Are you well known as a person? I keep to myself, mostly, but I try to be friendly to everyone I meet, so I always find myself being much more popular than I expected. I also tend to deadpan and joke my way into people's hearts after intially being very shy.
How do you act around friends? I'm very different around friends than just being quiet and dominant on my own. I'm very easygoing, always the leader, laughing, joking, friendly, always the one in charge. I also have a taste for swearing and politically incorrect jokes, dancing like I just don't care, basically being a leader but exceedingly inappropriate in my language and taste |D
How do you act around strangers (are you usually trusting or wary)? I find myself being more trusting than wary, especially if they strike up the conversation, I try not to think ill of people, unless they're a complete asshole. I am slightly wary though if they're obviously someone to be wary of though. I'll walk quicker and try to avoid them as soon as possible if I feel in any way uncomfortable.
Are you usually easy or hard to approach? I'm easy to approach, but I'm not easy to know. I hide, I'm very shy when it comes to the real me, especially when I'm not comfortable around someone, I'm a good actor when I need to be, I'm quite shy sometimes, and bold other moments. I'm an idealist, but deep down I think behind someone who pretends not to be afraid of anything, I'm quite afraid of people making fun of me or using me. I have two friends who each call me "Her Ennis", as in Ennis Del Mar from "Brokeback Mountain" and the other "Her Steve" from "Captain America". I don't like not being liked, but I'm also scared of people using me or thinking I have no purpose.
What do you usually do in your free time? Usually just relax and curl up with a good book and tea. Or do exercise. Watch TV, snuggle with people. If I'm with a good friend we usually joke around and play around. XD
OTHER
List a few topics of conversation (what do you like to talk about):
1. Pop culture
2. Everyday life
3. TV shows
(I know it's really not a topic of conversation, but I always find the need to make people like me or smile, even if they're the hardest nut to crack. I don't sit well with people not liking me, so I'd probably say I joke when I get nervous, without even realizing it. If I want to win someone over, I try to make them smile and break the ice. I can be dismissive of people who are assholes, but I really do like people to like me.)
Which topics you cannot stand and why?
I hate flippant topics, or people who aren't intelligent and well-educated. It doesn't matter what social level you're at, intelligence can be learned and gained by anyone, or at least some form of it. I hate topics and people where people underestimate what they've been given. I hate people who are spoiled or take things for granted.
10 things you enjoy doing a lot:
1. Drinking tea.
2. Travelling.
3. Reading.
4. Being at home with family.
5. Exploring. Just choosing one direction to go in and running as fast as you can until you're out of breath and in a whole new place and world.
6. Laughing.
7. Listening to or playing music.
8. Falling asleep next to someone. I love the feeling that you can trust someone enough to lean on them, and know they won't move for the world.
9. Lip-synching or dancing when I'm alone in the house |D
10. Spend time with a person who's your other half of your personality, whether it be a member of your family or best friend or lover. It's always fun, and always rewarding, and you go to sleep every night feeling happy.
10 things you could never do without things that make my life just a little bit brighter:
1. The Ricky Gervais Show. No matter how many times you listen to it, it makes you feel like you're having a laugh with a really really good old friend, and it makes you laugh every time. Karl becomes part of your family, you just want to take him in like a little shaven puppy |DDD
2. Classic rock and blankets.
3. Period pieces and tea.
4. Anglophilia.
5. Languages.
6. Humor.
7. Books.
8. Travel.
9. Teasing people.
10. Dancing just like you just don't care.
10 things you absolutely loathe:
1. Long plane rides.
2. Chauvanists.
3. Rudeness.
4. Boisterousness.
5. People who can't take a tongue-in-cheek joke about themselves or be self-depricating.
6. People who laugh at serious topics or think because the subject isn't directly applicable to them they can be cruel about it or rude.
7. Screaming children.
8. Drunks.
9. Dirty kitchens or bathrooms.
10. People interrupting your quiet night (or day) in xD
You spend a lot of time thinking about ...
Doing things. I'm never satisfied with what I have, accomplishment-wise. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing.
Favourite books, movies, music, shows, food: I think I did every one of these earlier except food, so...
Food: Sushi, smoothies, sandwiches.
What are you good at? I think I'm a good listener, as cliche as it sounds. People often tell me their problems, even if I don't ask for them, and I try my best to help them and support them the best I can, especially if it's someone I care about. People say I'm both passionate and easygoing, but I think it's odd what you project to others. As for abilities, I played national-level volleyball for a couple of years. I also am a bit of a polygot; I speak several languages and understand many well, including French, Spanish, Italian, German and currently I'm learning Latin. I'm good at not talking about what I'm good at |DDDD -blushes- Supposedly I have a lovely singing voice |D Or so my mum says.
Dating in your experience (anything you feel like sharing): Very very scarring, in the worst possible way. I'm very defensive when people ask me out on dates and unless I trust them completely, I usually think they're joking and get secretly angered/hurt/pained, depending on how much they want to push it. Someone needs to work past that though if they want to get to know me though, they need to calm my pain and tell me it's alright. As long as they don't hurt me, I'll be fine. "Love hath no fury like a woman scorned", and I would never allow myself to be cheated on. EVER. I will NOT enter into a relationship to be cheated, cloistered, or tamed into less of a person as when I originally entered it. I probably expect too much out of a relationship, but I've never been interested in a casual relationship anyhow. I've always been one for all or nothing, and I'd give that care to a person in spades. I don't like doing things half-assed, and I damn well am not going to start with love and relationships.
I AM ...
INTROVERTED OR EXTROVERTED? Introverted. I don't like boisterous people and I'm quite quiet unless I'm in the mood to try to be outgoing or funny.
EMOTIONAL OR STOIC? Stoic, but quite sensitive.
DOMINANT OR SUBMISSIVE? Dominant. I don't like being told what to do and I don't like being talked down to. I'm agreeable and friendly to people, but I always have to stay in control.
SOCIAL OR ANTI-SOCIAL? Social. I really don't like going out every night, I'm much more independent and prefer my own private time, but I'm usually quite popular.
FIGHTER OR LOVER? Both. I don't believe you can have one without the other. You can be a lover and start a relationship, but you have to be a fighter to keep it to work
SOFT-HEARTED OR TOUGH-MINDED? I'd say more sensitive. I can be sharp, but when it comes to me personally, it's a good front. I'm quite sensitive at heart.
MATURE OR IMMATURE? Mature. I can't stand immature people. They are the bane of my existence.
FANTASY OR REALITY? Oh, who likes reality anyhow? XD Fantasy, definitely.
LEADER OR FOLLOWER? Leader, I hate following. I'm very much my own man, even though I usually don't think so. I underestimate my own value constantly.
IMPULSIVE OR CAUTIOUS? Cautiously impulsive. I'll do impulsive things, but I prefer to think them out before I do them. |D
BRAINS OR BEAUTY? Both, naturally |D -preens- No, brains, always brains.
PLAYFUL OR SERIOUS? Playfully serious. I'm not one level or another. I'm not deathly serious or fleetingly playful, I'm both. I can be very playful and teasing but I'm also quiet and serious about things I care about.
PREDICTABLE OR UNPREDICTABLE? Predictable and unpredictable. I can be depended on to always do the responsible thing, I just may have to do it MY way to end up doing it |D
ROMANTIC OR UNROMANTIC? Romantic. I have a romantic mind, not in the traditional sense as we've come to think of it, but more in the literature sense. I think romantically when I daydream, idolize nature and fully support a return to it without being an environmentalist, and love the dichotomy between emotion and reason. I'm not a silly romantic, I'm a quiet romantic in the sense that I'm an idealist.
PASSIONATE OR ANALYTICAL? Both. I am passionate about doing well in everything that I approach, but I'm often analytical in the way I approach it. Passion for me isn't jumping up and down when I approach something. Passion is approaching something and analyzing it thoroughly until there's nothing left to analyze, or being embarrassed or scared to do something but then doing it anyway.
CONVENTIONAL OR UNCONVENTIONAL? Both. I enjoy tradition, because I think it's novel and quite sweet, it's become tradition for a reason, but personally I don't believe in following just one singular path. Everyone's different, just like everyone else |D
SUPPORTER OR CHALLENGER? Supporter. I don't enjoy heated conflict. Usually because I think I've supported such a flawless argument that anyone saying anything otherwise is being a twat, but I digress |DD I will challenge someone if they're being a knob, but I'm much more of a supporter, I find. If I have to live with someone, I'm the one who'll do the cooking, the cleaning, have everything ready for when they get home, just because I think it's curteous to do so. I challenge convention though and have no problem sometimes telling a little white lie to get what I want though.
KINDNESS OR FAIRNESS? Kindness. Life isn't fair. Anyone who says differently is selling something xD
MATH OR ART? I think math is it's own type of art, but I suppose art, simply because I like certain types of maths (Calculus, algebra), but hate others.
GROUP ORIENTED OR LONER? I prefer the term 'independent' XD 'Loner' infers anti-social tendencies, I'm definitely not anti-social. I just prefer my alone time. XD I am kind to people though.
UNTROUBLED OR ANXIOUS? Neither. I'm definitely not flippant, but I'm also not high strung. Things don't phase me. I just take them in stride and quietly keep moving on.
OUTGOING OR RESERVED? Reserved. I have enthusiasm for things, but I'm not annoyingly peppy all the time. XD I get giddy though for short periods of time.
CLEAN OR MESSY? Clean but lived-in.
SPOTLIGHT OR BACKGROUND? More background, but I don't mind being in the spotlight, I'm always better for it.
Is there anything else you would like to add? Maybe an explaination would be fantastic. :)
