Here in Australia it's Grand Final time, where our two major football codes are having their equivalent to the Super Bowl (it's always on the last weekend in September).

His memory had dimmed, and glaucoma had robbed him of sight. At 92, Herb Carnegie was living in an assisted-care home in northern Toronto.

The inevitable became reality Tuesday when Lane Kiffin was fired by Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis on Tuesday.

SC State rebounded from that beating last week by beating the hell out of Winston Salem State 42-17. What say the rest of you blackfolk ... how are your teams doing tonight?

Just wondering how everyone is doing football wise with their college teams tonight. SCSU pulled off a win in the Low Country Classic Beating Bethune-Cookman Wildcats 28-19.
