So I have a tattoo, on my side. And it's just of a star, very simple, very plain, and I'm very bored with it. So I'm planning on sprucing it up a bit. I want to add two more stars and a quote, but I can't decide which quote. So I'm posting them here, and I would love for you to tell me which is your favorite, and which one you would never want to see anyone make the mistake of putting permanently on their body. Thanks!
Here's the Quotes:
1. “Love is the voice under all silences, the hope which has no opposite in fear; the strength so strong mere force is feebleness: the truth more first than sun, more last than star…”
~E.E. Cummings
2. “There was a star danced, and under that was I born.”
~William Shakespeare
3. “The trees, the stars, and the blue hills ache with a meaning which can never be uttered in words.”
~Rabindranath Tagore
4. “The sun is but a morning star.”
~Henry David Thoreau
5. “Between two worlds life hovers like a star, ‘Twixt night and morn, upon the horizon’s verge.”
~George Gordon Noel Byron
6. “Doubt thou the stars are fire,
Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt I love.”
~William Shakespear, Hamlet, Act ii. Sc. 2.
7. “For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream”
~Vincent Van Gogh
8. “Without a wish, without a will.
I stood upon that silent hill
And stared into the sky until
My eyes were blind with stars and still
I stared into the sky.”
~Ralph Hodgson
9. “For the moon, though one, dispels the darkness, which the stars, though numerous, can not.”
~Chanakya
