I'm going to bring up a controversial issue...And you're going to give a fairly short answer (since words are limited).Abortion:I personally would like to avoid such a scenario at all costs, but it happens, right or wrong, it happens. Pre-Marital Sex:Works for some. Young Marriage:It could work, but isn't anything I personally aim for. Gay Marriage ( Read more... )

ABORTION: it should be the right of the potential mother. its unfortunate that women would do it, and should be reserved for situations such as rape victims, accidents, etc. if you don't use protection then you deserve to get pregnant.

PRE-MARITAL SEX: whatever floats your boat. if you can deal with what comes along with it, go ahead. but know what you're getting yourself into.

YOUNG MARRIAGE: much like premarital sex, you have to be sure you're ready for it. and it isn't a bear-a-baby free card. as long as you know what you're getting yourself into.

GAY MARRIAGE: there shouldn't BE a discussion. marriage rights should go for everyone. its a law thing, now, more than a religious thing... so i don't see why we're trying to include church and state.

FEMINISM: goes overboard sometimes, but whatever.

RELIGION: organized religion is a lie. i don't believe in it at all. its more of an ethics and morals lesson. i prefer mythology. its more of a 'why'. religions of today are more of a 'how'. ::shrug:

WAR ON TERRORISM: we're not combatting terror. iraq did not pose a threat. we missed everyone who was a threat. bush is a dumbass. a puppet. and its all for profit.

VIOLENCE/NUDITY ON TV: violence, when not overdone, isn't a big deal. nudity either. nudity should be no big thing at all.

OPTING TO OMIT 'UNDER GOD' FROM THE PLEDGE: separation of church & state. i can understand it. the nation was founded on freedom, not god. besides, its not just god that people pray to. theres many others which isn't acknowledged.

RACISM: racism=ignorance=stupidity.

DRESS CODES: they're becoming wayy too strict. there's a difference between appropriate dress and supressing self expression.

UNDERAGE DRINKING: i do it. i'm fine with it. you do what you do, and if you fuck up its your fault. as long as your up to accepting the responsibilities of it.

DRINKING AND DRIVING: hell no. setting yourself up for a dangerous situation. completely against it. unless the driver didn't drink very much.

LEGALIZATION OF WEED: needs to happen. probably will happen. its close to happening in canada. but it will come eventually, and life will be gooooood.

PIRATING OF MUSIC, MOVIES, ETC: okay, when you download a movie that's in theatres that you've already paid 7$ to go see, then i don't see why its such a damn problem. as far as mp3s go, i don't see a problem with it. if you weren't going to buy the cd in the first place, then its not a huge loss. people aren't wealthy enough to afford cds, then what? they lucked out and got a computer, so what? that doesn't mean they have the money to buy all kinds of over fucking priced cds. it would benefit the artists much more if we downloaded their songs and sent like 12$ directly to the artists we like and choose to support. lord knows they'd be getting more out of it than thru the record company.

BRITNEY SPEARS: entertainer. not musician. her last cd has some pretty tight songs on it. but she's not someone i would support. have you heard about her diet of ginseng & red bull? thats basically like taking speed. and how she smokes cigarettes to keep herself from eating? funny shit. but a lot of models do that last one.

JANET JACKSON'S EYE: whaaa?

IMMIGRATION: ::remembers that song from poccahontas::

ATTACK ON US SOIL ON 9/11: i think there's way more to it. there was obvious government involvement, as well. and iraq definately had nothing to do with it. there's no way you can pick one certain country to go after in retribution. the bush administration has used the event to scare the public in believing lies and supporting bullshit wars.
