My friends are the best.  You see, even though I only live about 2 hours from New York city, I have never been. When madamekat found out,, she was appalled and was quick to remedy the situation. So yesterday she, along with ladyxjade, and dragoneyes19 took me up to Manhattan to go fabric shopping and see the Met.  Thanks to Judy's mad cab driver like skills, we made it up there
