Person of Interest tonight:
Woah! I didn't expect TPTB to play that card this quickly in the season! Good for them for keeping the pacing of the season's bigger arc moving instead of spinning its wheels. We not only got the face of the mysterious Elias to add to the growing picture of the ongoing arc, but he is also now The One Who Got Away.
The dilemma that was posed in the first episode -- whose number do they have? Bad guy, good guy? Only they didn't just save the bad guy, the bad guy is someone who WILL kill again, he has bigger plan in play.
Being fooled stings bad enough, but when it comes from someone you didn't expect it from, that's even worse.
Finch worrying about Reese was awesome! Just buttoned down enough to still be Finch, but showing a sense of loyalty to and caring about his partner.
And now Finch and Reese appear to have their opposite mirroring duo introduced to the table - Elias and his apparent right-hand very efficient dirty cop partner.
Leaves the question in the air... who will regret their choices more: John Reese, for saving the wrong "number" and consequently enabling a killer to walk free... or "Charlie" aka Elias, who spared John as consideration for having saved his life, and consequently allowed a very capable and connected man who will be looking to stop him go free.
