me: Let's go on an adventure!
Jeff: All right, where to?
m: I dunno... I wanna be outside. Let's go someplace we haven't been before.
J: Okay :)
m: Let's go to the lighthouse. I know vaguely where it is.
*freeway driving listening to M.I.A.*
m: Uh... let's exit here.
*winding road abounds*
m: Oh, look, Marine Drive! We're going the right way now.
J: What street am I looking for?
m: Beacon.
*driving*
J: What's that? Is that... Highway 1? *laughing* We're in Horseshoe Bay.
m: How did that happen?
J: Hey look, Whytecliff Park, we could go there instead.
Whytecliff Park: *is extremely dark and creepy*
J: ...let's go.
m: *consults map* Yeah, we missed the turnoff. If we head back on Marine Drive we'll find it.
*driving*
m: There it is! Turn right.
Lighthouse Park: *is extremely dark and creepy*
J: We didn't really think this through, did we?
m: Well, we could always have sex in the car...
J: I'm not really a fan of creepy sex.
After resolving to return to both places at a time when it was not dark, and possibly also not winter, we ended up just taking the road up to the Cypress Mountain lookout to take a few photos. Though the fact that we were without a tripod and my battery died after about 10 minutes resulted in not very many good ones.
