Soooooooo cooooooooooooold!
OMG, it's soooo cold here and getting colder and colder.
We now have the central heating on 24 hours a day, one "bar" of a calor gas heater in the downstairs hall and a paraffin heater going full blast in the upstairs corridor, plus an oil filled heater in this room (on its lowest setting) which is supposed to be for emergencies, and one upstairs in Charles' room, which is probably on 24/7; there's also a fan heater in John's room which he hasn't switched on yet, preferring to watch TV in bed, but still the thermometer is lurking around the 15C mark.
I was hoping to go to the Lit & Phil book sale tomorrow, where it's possible to pick up some wonderful bargains, but can't see any of us wanting to leave the house.
This lbooyd weather is beginning to seriously interfere with my life.
