Average Boring Life Update

Mar 10, 2009 17:52

So, it has been a little over a week since I started back at uni. I got back into the swing of things very quickly. So quickly in fact that I was sick of it within the first day. Don't get me wrong, I love my degree, but there is a lot of repetition, and a lot of things that aren't exactly my area.

In disappointing news, I can't go to my degree's first social event of the year because it is on Good Friday. And while that is not a problem for me, it is for a few of my friends. And I'm not that keen on going without my friends. And I don't think anyone else would like to go enough (it's karaoke, which turns people off, but come on, free pizza!).

Something that is kind of cool is the fact we're starting to learn how to give IQ tests. It is really strictly controlled, which means I can't say anything here about it, except that it is hard for me to learn, because things need to be so exact. But it is exciting, I'm just dreading the practical test on it at the end of semester.

Finally, I am so busy trying to keep up with things (both on and off line) that I am falling behind. Over 150 people who I watch on DA, numerous communities and journals here, along with the huge amounts of fics I read makes me very busy; and I haven't even started discussing uni work yet. So I'm hoping to make a timetable to organise my time, I'm sure it is a skill I need, and yet I have never managed to acquire it despite trying.

Until the next "nothings really happened" update, cya.
