Braids
Hello! I'm going to Africa for 2 years with the Peace Corps after graduation. I was hoping for a braids 101. I haven't had my hair in braids for 8 years, and when I had them in I really had no idea what was going on (all in the mom department). My hair has been relaxed all these years. Quite honestly, I want my hair to be the least of my worries while I'm overseas. I have a couple general questions for you:
What hairstyle should I get? How long would it last? What kind of hair should I buy? What kind of upkeep is necessary? How much would it cost to get it done? Do you know of any place in Orlando where I can get it done?
I'm hoping for something to last me quite a while. Any advice/links/pictures are greatly appreciated!
