Middle of May, and once again I find myself refreshing
TV Squad and keeping an eye on things. As if by watching I may be able to change things. Because I am just that much of an obsessive.
+
Reaper was renewed. For this I give the CW much thanks, because the show is sweet, and funny, and it should only get better. Have to wait until midseason, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Not great, but not bad.
+ And then
Moonlight was cancelled. The weird thing is, Reaper was supposed to be in trouble until a few days ago, and Moonlight was probably okay. Then suddenly the reports started to drift. Makes you wonder what's going on at CBS. Or, on the other hand, say, 'well, CBS is hardly the right place for genre programming - how surprised are we really?' And, of course, the perennial, 'should I bother picking up new shows this year?' I will, but that's only cause I'm crazy. And because Dollhouse is coming. On Fox. Why, Joss?
+ How I Met Your Mother is safe! Yay! Also Eli Stone, for those of you who watch that (before or after Richard Schiff appeared ;) )
Okay, probably more throughout the week as the culling continues. Poor little shows :(
But for now, I have a problem. Tin Man was on SciFi UK, and I recorded it because I knew some flisters (
entangled_now?) thought it slashworthy. I'm not even a little ashamed of that. And it's all pretty and weird, even if there are some odd creative choices. And Cain/Glitch is indeed lovely. Except I want to watch the rest now and not wait for another two weeks! I probably could get it faster, but I feel bad about not occasionally supporting real TV buying genre programmes. This is why they don't buy anymore!
