Another entry that no one needs but me... David Beckham is my sporting boyfriend

I do realise that noone reading my LJ cares about this but me, but David Beckham is getting his 100th cap for England tonight, and it makes me happy. He is, at this point, by a street the longest crush I've ever had. My love for him has been pure through a variety of different haircuts (classic curtains, mohawk, braids, shaven, bleached...), and survives despite the fact that no one who knows me understands why I love him so. He's just a really sweet guy, okay? He runs soccer academies for kids, he does charity work, and he's a UNICEF ambassador right now and went to Africa for them. Plus I've never seen anyone happier to play for their country, or be more broken up when they lose. He's probably my favourite sportsperson in the world, despite the fact he has never played for Spurs or the Red Sox!

Also he's just frakking hot, okay? Footballers are undoubtedly the best looking sportspeople :)
