Another day on the sofa...
I don't have glandular fever, which is very good, but means that the doctor has labelled this as an "unknown viral infection of some kind". The swelling in my neck has gone down a hell of a lot, but it's still there a bit. I'm also getting tired easily still, but it's not as bad either.
I went in to town with Stewart over the weekend to get some fresh air and to see how much I could stand before feeling awful. We did a fair amount of Christmas shopping, but there's still some left over to get. I really need to sort out Stewart's presents too! Anyway, I managed a couple of hours of shopping, along with a drink and "festive pie" at McDonalds before I was ready to come home. I saw someone I knew from the Waterstone's store here and was totally spaced out when I was talking with him! When I'm better and back at work I'll have to apologise!
I was supposed to be going to a wedding reception type-thing this weekend as well, but just couldn't manage it. I've now missed 3 things becuse of this bloody virus! I'm getting bored with it. There's only so much I can do here too, even though there is sill a lot of cleaning to do I can't get the motivation to do it! I'm just hoping that I'm better for Salvation and Coven this weekend!
