He raised his eyes and spotted the smirk on Kyuhyun’s face. The mixed feelings within him-humiliation, worship, shame, excitement- caused his hands to freeze on their place, not unlike a deer caught in the headlights, but his mouth ran off all the same with a tone he hoped to sound condescending, “Enjoying my thoughts?”
“It’s all written all over your face,” Kyuhyun chuckled and raised ass further up in the air. “I don’t need to read into your mind to know what’s in it.”
“But apparently you do feel the need to peek at the most convenient times.”
“Honestly, Siwon,” the younger man rolled his eyes. “I don’t know why you always scold me when it’s all about serving your interest.”
“Doesn’t change the fact that it’s wrong. How many times did we talk about this?” Siwon gritted his teeth. “It’s not fair for me if you rely on your ability to gain the upper hand. I will never be able to know what’s exactly on your mind, while you can easily tell what I want, what I hate, what-.”

Siwon’s grip on the other man’s ankle grew tighter and Kyuhyun knew he might have slightly stepped over the line. Of course it was normal for Siwon to get upset. People kept secrets for many reasons, and none of them wanted it out in the open. Siwon already realized that privilege was nearly reduced to none when he decided to date the mind-reader, but they talked about how to make things work and how to maintain their respective privacy.
