The Only God Is The Robot God

So, some physicist says that relationships are like atomic nuclei. If anybody can explain this article to me, I'd greatly appreciate it, because I love analogies.
Move out is going slowly, but it's happening.

Band practice was moved from today to Friday, meaning that we're going to practice right up until Saturday, then head into the studio...Sunday? I think.

Edit (9.16p): Sam called a few minutes ago to inform me that we're postponing the album a little bit longer due to concerns over Joe's wrist, as well as Joe's desire to get more comfortable with the music. So we're pushing the schedule back a few weeks. I'm for this, because I don't want Joe to blow his wrist out, but my concern is that we're going to have a lot of practices in a short period of time, which will all be in Ann Arbor. I just spent almost $30 filling up my tank last night, and an A^2 trip runs me about a fifth of a tank. So, assuming that a whole $30 would be full, each practice will cost me $6.

Mind you, other expenses will be lower, but I won't be working until after I get fingerprinting done, and even then I have to wait for teachers to call off. I'm going to be a bit concerned until I can refill my bank account some (I hope Dan's Houses is speedy with the return of the security deposit).
Preliminary report on Simpsons Season 6 DVDS:

The case: I hate the cheesy plastic Homer head that it comes in, because you know that plastic is going to crack and break. However, the internal case for the dvds is better than previous seasons, because the flip book style is more compact and easier to manipulate than the fold out cases.

Of course, this is the most important issue.

The commentary tracks: Hit or miss. Too many episodes have similar comments, especially relating to the earthquake that hit Cali during the time they were working on this season. Normally, I think all the Simpsons commentary tracks are gold. There have been a few good stories though, including one where some of the guys on staff played a nasty joke on the other guys using an exterminator tent, coffee mugs, and ammonia.

The episodes: Wow. So many re-used quotes come from this season. Most notably, "Is it gas? Are you gassy?" etc., "Are you saying boo or Boourns?," and "I bent my wookie!"

The deleted scenes: There's almost as many as were in the Jay & Silent Bob dvd. It's amazing. The best one is from A Star Is Burns, where Lisa wins an award for making a film that's an incredibly silly Ingmar Bergman reference. You have to wonder how many of these jokes were cut for valid reasons and how many were lost to Fox saying they wanted more time for commercials.
