Does this bug anyone else???
I just got done watching the seaon finale of Smallville. I really love the show and all, but I hate it when TV shows leave you hanging, especially at the end of the season. Now I have to wait until October to find out what the hell happens. I can see leaving a cliffhanger from week to week, but for 4 months?? C'mon most people (me included) will forget about the show after four or five months. Don't they respect viewers enough to not leave them hanging?
I also don't get car racing. I had to run a race at work today (not actually run, but I work at a TV station and have to air racing) What is it about cars turning left for 3-4 hours that people like? I live near a busy intersection. Come pay me $100 bucks and watch cars turn left. It's not so much that I mind people like the crap, but today was the Indy 500, and being in Indy, I hated dealing with the traffic. I'm 10-15 miles from the Speedway and still took me an hour to get home from work.
On a more postitive note, I found out today that Willie Nelson is almost or is 70. It's cool to see someone that old still rockin' out. I always kinda liked Willie (not really the music, but the persona) and it just makes me feel good that I *might* be still be able to be that cool when I'm an old turd. I think I need to smoke pot though to last that long, and I hate doing that crap. You never hear about old people that were toally healthy all their lives. You only hear about the people that smoked a lot of pot, or drank like a fish that live to be old (think Hunter S. Thompson).
Also some shitbag stole all the little doo-hickies that cover my wheel nuts on my car. I really wouldn't care that much but I'm just leasing the car I have now, so I have to replace them. $35 for a little thing that only is a couple inches in diameter. What a friggin racket. If I knew more about cars I'd open up a parts store. That reminds me I remember seeing plans a few years back for a supposed "water car." It would run on water. If anyone knows where to get those plans let me know. I want to take the plans to a engineer or physicist and see if they are possible.
I was standing in the shower thinkin' that if I could I would love to be able to be invisible. How cool would that be to watch everything without somebody knowing you are watching them? I'm not talking about going into a girls locker room (although I would) but just watching a person at home alone. See what people really do. People fascinate the hell out of me. Partly because I can't figure them out. I just love watching people. Not in a pervert way (I'm no peeping Tom) but I go and sit downtown sometimes and make up stories about the people I see. I watch them walk, talk, spit, and whatever the hell they do, and that just fascinates me. Maybe tomorrow I'll post one of my stories I wrote some people I see.
